Commitment
Everything we promise to every tutor who joins.
Work on Tutorful, privately, anywhere else — we don't care. We just want to be worth your time.
Creating a profile is completely free. You only pay the £5 platform fee when a session is completed.
No commitment to us — but we do ask that you honour any sessions already booked. A week's notice lets us reroute students without anyone being left in the lurch.
Nothing to sign. No minimum sessions. You decide how much or how little you take on.
Who's Behind This
Not a VC-backed startup. Not a faceless platform. Just someone who saw a problem and fixed it.
Founder, MathsPro · Bournemouth
Our founder Aisha is 18, based in Bournemouth, and tutors GCSE maths herself — currently charging £18/hour. She built MathsPro because she looked at what platforms were taking from tutors and thought it was wrong. You do the work. You should keep the money. This platform exists to make that happen.
We're not a corporation. If something isn't working for you, you can email us directly and we'll fix it.
