1. Cancellation by parent
- More than 24 hours before the lesson: Full refund of the lesson fee and platform fee.
- Less than 24 hours before the lesson: No refund. The tutor has reserved the time and will be paid in full.
- No-show (parent/student): No refund.
2. Cancellation by tutor
If a tutor cancels a lesson for any reason, you will receive:
- A full refund of the lesson fee and platform fee, or
- The option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time
3. Quality concerns
If you are unsatisfied with a lesson, contact us within 48 hours at support@mathspro.co.uk. We will review the situation and may offer:
- A replacement lesson with the same or a different tutor
- A partial or full refund at our discretion
4. Match guarantee
If you are not happy with the tutor match after the introductory call (before any paid lesson), we will find a new match at no extra cost.
5. Recurring bookings
For recurring lesson plans, you may cancel future lessons with at least 7 days' notice. Lessons within the 7-day window follow the standard 24-hour cancellation policy above.
6. How refunds are processed
- Refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method.
- Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days.
- You will receive an email confirmation when a refund is initiated.
